Welcome to our consignment community, we are happy to have you! We have been doing this for many years and have built up a roster of over 4,500 consignors. We do our best to give your clothes a second life and  fairly compensate you, the consignor, while offering excellent second-hand clothes at affordable prices to our wonderful customers! We sell women's fashion items including clothing, shoes & accessories, Fur coats, and Men's, Women's & Unisex Harley Davidson Motorcycle fashion items. You can find more information below on specific brands and items we prefer to accept or tend to donate.  


We require appointments for your first drop off.  Please read through our policies. They will clearly explain the terms and details of our consignment process. This will help you decide if we are a good fit for your consignment journey.

How Consignment works

  • Our consignors receive 40% of the final sale price of their items priced under $200. Items sold for over $200 will receive 50%.
  • Consignment items will get 90-120 days on the sale floor before they are donated at the end of the season or their expiration, unless withdrawn by the consignor prior.
  • Consignors can use their accumulated balance as store credit for their purchases or withdraw in cash ($20.00 or less) or a check for the full balance.
  • If we do not accept your items to be priced for sale; or they do not sell by the end of their contracted time or the current season they will be donated. It is within your right as a consignor to come in and pull your items off the rack yourself in order to have them withdrawn from consignment at anytime BEFORE the end of the season or their contracted expiration date. All items must be scanned out of inventory by staff before they can leave the store.

You must have an appointment for your first time, in order to set up your consignment account. Drop offs are only accepted Monday-Friday between 11am and 3pm. We are CLOSED on Tuesdays. 

DROP OFFS ARE LIMITED TO 25 ITEMS PER WEEK.

Please make sure all of your items are in the condition you would want to shop: clean and in excellent condition. Your drop offs must follow policy or your items will be turned away or donated immediately.  All items must be:

  • Clean: free of dirt, stains, odors, pet hair, lint, etc. 
  • In good condition and by good quality brands (see list of brands we prefer not to accept)
  • All clothing items on hangers to prevent wrinkles and keep everything organized. Clothing without hangers will not be accepted. Staff can provide hangers for your drop offs and there is a bin of free hangers to replenish any of yours so please help yours.

Your items will be sorted, inspected and priced over the next week or two and placed on the sale floor. They will be contracted for a minimum of 3 months before they are subject to donation, with a maximum duration of 6 months. During this time they may be discounted at management's discretion.

When your item(s) sell the system will automatically credit your portion of the final sale price to your account. Call, Email or Ask Staff in Store to check your balance or for a portal invite email to check your balance online.  Find more info about the portal here: Consignor Portal page.


For your next drop off check the top of this page for items we are looking for or not currently accepting. Please make sure all of your items are within our drop off guidelines and ready to be passed over to staff. We will take down your name, look up your account and tag your items with the account number for management to price at a later time.

Jewelry

Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, charm bracelets and charms, watches, rings, broaches/pins and other misc. pieces. The more you know about them the better, we do check for metal quality stamps and take any other info we have into consideration for pricing.  

WE NEED JEWELRY RIGHT NOW! Especially RINGS and EARRINGs! Jewelry will not count towards your 25 item limit.

Glasses and Glasses Cases

We will take sunglasses and/or their cases in excellent or new condition.  No prescription lenses.

Belts

 In excellent  or new condition and full functionality. 

Scarves and Shawls

We differentiate seasonally by weight and fiber - heavier weights, and warmer fibers will be accepted in the fall and winter. Lighter weights, cottons, linens etc. accepted in the spring and summer.

Items We absolutely DO NOT ACCEPT:

Pajamas and Robes

Bras and Underwear (Except sports bras in extremely good condition)

Items without branding or tags 

Faux leather bags or purses

Faux/knock-off designer items 

Big-Box store brands (Target, Walmart, Kohls etc)

Geneva Upscale Consignment Policies

Check - A specific amou or full amount. Checks can be mailed for a fee of $1.00o weekend drop offs accepted.

25 item maximum per drop off per week per consignor.

Appointments are required for first time consignors and all fur drop offs. Book an appointment on our appointments page.

We do not take appointments for regular drop offs.

Store employees will not go through your consignment items with you during drop offs.

All clothing items must come in on hangers or they will not be accepted. If hangers are needed, please ask a staff member. Your hangers will not be returned to you, but you may switch hangers on your own at drop off. 

Items will be donated immediately if they are not:

Clean - free of pet hair, orders, stains, dirt, dust etc. All clothing or fabric items must be free of wrinkles at drop off or your account will be charged a steam fee of 50 cents per excessively wrinkled item.

 In excellent/like new condition - no damage, excessive pilling or wear & tear etc.

Items that are accepted for consignment and all pricing will be at the discretion of store management.

Accepted items will have a minimum of 90 days on the sale floor.

ALL Items are subject to discounts, clearance and end of the season sales. 

For items under $200 consignors will receive 40% of final price at time of sale. Items priced over $200 will receive 50% of the final sale price.

Consignors can choose to receive payouts in the following forms:

Cash - up to $20.00

Check - A specific amount or full balance. Checks can be mailed for a fee of $1.00

Store credit - applied at checkout when shopping in store. 


It is within your right as a consignor to pull your items off the sale floor and have them withdrawn from consignment at any time. You can ask staff for a list of your remaining inventory, however staff will not assist you with locating your items on the floor. Items must be checked and scanned at the counter in order to be released from store inventory and returned to the consignor.

Items that do not sell or have not been returned to the consignor by the end of the season or their expiration date will be donated. 


Your items are frequently donated to: American Cancer Society, Circle of Friends and various local long-term care facilities.

How do you decide what to donate?

Thoughtful Selection

Our staff works hard to make sure that we are providing customers with great clothes and our consignors are fairly compensated for their pieces. This requires us to be selective of the items we accept so we can uphold our Upscale standard and provide our customers with quality pieces in great condition. No items will be donated without at least one of the reasons below. If you have an item you are not sure if we will accept email us photos and details and management will let you know.

Quality & Condition

We want to provide our customers with pieces that look and feel amazing for great prices. If clothing comes to us excessively dirty, stained, damaged, worn-out, pilled, damaged or defective in any way we cannot sell it to our customers. So think of the quality and condition you would prefer the items you're shopping to be in, and please do not bring items for drop off in a state you would not find suitable to purchase. 

Any items dropped off that needs to be steamed, lint rolled, spot cleaned etc will result in a charge of 50 cents per item but will not be donated.

Out of Season

We cycle our inventory seasonally, meaning we accept clothing reflective of the near and current season and this will change every 3-6 months. There are lists below of seasonally specific items. Current seasons will be listed at the top of this page, and marked on a sign near the front counter in the store.

High Volume & Lack of Space

Often we end up with high volumes of certain sizes or types of clothing coming in, leading to those sections becoming full too quickly. Because of this we may become extra selective or place a complete hold on any incoming in those categories. The top of this page , our social medias and signs in our store will have recent lists of which categories might be most affected at this time. Please check before each drop off.

Damage

Damage; excessive wear and tear, threadbare spots, holes, stains; buttons, beads, sequins or gems are missing or falling off; damaged or missing closures; etc. Please remember to bring pieces in the condition you would like to shop yourself.

End of season or Item Expiration

- Your items did not sell during the season or the end-of-season clearance phase and needs to be turned over to make room for the next season.

- An item has reached it's automatic 120 day expiration date in our system without being withdrawn by the consignor, it will now be removed from the account's inventory and donated, as detailed in the consignor's contract.
